Many beginners make numerous mistakes when managing Facebook accounts, leading to bans or their accounts being flagged for review.
In this article, we’ll explore the actions to avoid to prevent account blocking. Here are the top 20 mistakes:
- Do not add too many friends too quickly. If you do add friends, only do so from the “Recommendations” section.
- Do not send messages to new people. (RECOMMENDED: Respond to incoming messages and video calls instead.)
- Do not upload photos.
- Do not leave the account inactive (without mouse activity) for more than 5 minutes immediately after the first login.
- After the first login, do not rush to set up ads. Warm up the account first. You can find more details on how to do this in our article.
- Do not change the email or phone number associated with the account.
- Do not like posts.
- Do not repost content to your wall.
- Do not create a Fan Page until the account has been properly warmed up.
- Do not log out using the “Log Out” button.
- Do not access the Ads Manager by entering its URL in the address bar. Only access it through Facebook’s buttons and interface.
- Always work with the same IP address (proxy). You can read more about proxies in our article.
- Do not switch browsers or change settings in anti-detect browsers. Always use the same settings as when you first logged into the account.
- Do not add additional profile information (e.g., university, school, etc.).
- Do not comment on other people’s posts.
- Do not change the account’s name, surname, or profile picture.
General Guidelines:
-
Behave like an ordinary user. If you log into Facebook for the first time and start setting up ads like a professional, Facebook will detect this behavior and flag your account for verification (e.g., requiring a selfie) because a typical user does not exhibit such activity.
-
Remember that Facebook is powered by AI. Don’t be discouraged if it outsmarts you. Real traffic arbitrage experts often work with 100 accounts simultaneously. Out of these, 50 might pass the warming-up stage, and only 10 deliver results—results that cover all expenses and generate profits of over a million rubles per month.
-
The more you warm up an account, the better your chances of running profitable ads.
This process is challenging, but with persistence, you can succeed!
